The Days Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown is officially a work in progress.

We, here at the Days Inn Vancouver Downtown, have a vision and have worked tirelessly over the past weeks, months and years towards achieving that vision.

The Days Inn by Wyndham has always been known as a hotel with a great location, and it truly is an amazing location that suits all needs! Whether you are a corporate traveler with meetings in the nearby financial district, a marathoner coming for one of Vancouver’s many great events like the BMO Vancouver Marathon or Seawheeze, a concert goers, a sports fans or a tourists, we are the place for you! Our proximity to Rogers Arena, Canada Place, Stanley Park, Gastown and more always ensures our guests that their needs will be met.

While we love that our locale is convenient to you, we strive to improve our guest experience and to be a great hotel in a great location! So, with this goal in mind, we have set out to achieve just that.  We knew that we had some of the necessities of being a great hotel already covered. Our location is incredible since we sit in one of the best neighborhoods in one of the world’s most beautiful cities and we have great staff who will do their best to make sure that your visit is memorable. Yet, even with these aspects covered, we knew that there was room for improvement.

We have looked at what our guests are saying as the final piece to the puzzle, because it is our guest who, after all, keep us going. We read the reviews, we heard the comments and while we have a very loyal following who were quite happy with the character that a 100+-year-old hotel has to offer, we knew that if we were going to become a great hotel that we had some work to do.

Recently, we have made some real progress towards realizing our vision. Over the last few months we have worked diligently at planning the work, placing the orders and we are happy to say that our goal is finally becoming a reality. The paint is going up, the flooring is going down (sorry to all of those who enjoyed the character of the distressed Douglas Fir floors), and the furniture is on its way!

Yes, it is true, we are renovating!

In the coming weeks, the first two floors will be ready for guests and we look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you to our loyal guests who have stayed with us throughout the years and to those new to us, we look forward to earning your loyalty in the years to come.

Sincerely,

The Days Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown Team.
